DAWN’S HEARTFELT CORNER

This year we have had a mass number of earthquakes already being that a quarter of the year has already past. We are definitely living in the last days before the return of our Savior. You and I do not need to fear because Jesus spoke about these signs of the times and told us what is to come. Do Not Fear! Luke 21:28, “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Verse 34 and 35 says, “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drukenness and the anxieties of life,
and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” The world is changing and if we are not careful we will change too. This word is for me as well as you! People are out of work, have finanial needs, tired, weary, hurting and suffering in spirit and body. Hebrews 10:25 says, let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Many will turn away from the faith as times passes on and trials increase. Will you? 2 Timothy 4:3-5 for the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn aside to myths. Verse 5, But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. I love this passage of God’s word. It is so encouraging. In your spare time read Hebrews 10:35-39. This talks about God’s righteous one living by faith and not shrinking back. About a month ago I was kneeling, praying before the Lord and crying out to him. I said, “Lord, please do not let Daniel and I backslide. We have paid such a high price to get where we are at. I love you and do not want to fall back into the world in my old ways.” Do you know what the Lord said to me? The Lord is so precious. His presence came into my bedroom so sweetly and said something to me that really touched my heart. I want to share it with you to encourage you no matter where you are at in your walk with Christ. The Lord gave me that scripture in John 10:27-30. I heard him say NO ONE CAN SNATCH YOU OUT OF MY HAND. I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE! Halleluaigh! That just encouraged my heart so much I was leaping for joy. My prayer is that it will encourage your heart too and build your faith. Nothing is impossible with the Lord no matter what you are going through right now. Know that Jesus is in the boat with you to carry you through. Trust his unseen hand at work in your life. He promised to never leave you nor forsake you. He will provide all your needs and he says, “I have never seen the righteous forsaken or begging bread, Psalm 37:25. I want to end with giving you the whole passage of Psalm 23. Call on Jesus today he loves you! God bless you.
Love & Prayers,
Servant of the Lord
Psalm 23, NIV
A Psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
Maybe you never asked Jesus to come into your heart to become your Lord and Savior. This is the most important prayer you will ever pray. Do it today, do not wait. Today is the day of salvation, now is the time of God’s favor. Commit your life to Jesus surrender your will and way.
If you said that prayer and meant it with all your heart then you are on your way to heaven and will be ready for whatever comes your way. That is the most important prayer you will ever pray. I want you to know God loves you very much and he has a great plan in store for you! Walk with him daily, Read God’s word and fellowship with other believers in the Lord and find a church that preaches the whole word of God.
Dear one, do not fear the future,
For God promised to go ahead
And prepare the way before you -
So there is no reason for dread.
Be strong and be of good courage,
For your Lord will strengthen you.
If you only trust and obey Him,
He will give you strength anew.
The joy of the Lord is your strength, beloved.
Be thankful and rejoice in the Lord.
Be resolute and unflinchingly believe Him.
You have His mighty strength and His Word.
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolation’s he hath made in the earth.
9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.1
A Prayer for Our Nation
We ask you to join with us wherever you are, for prayer and meditation for the future of your nation, with the following prayer:
May we as nation be guided by the Divine to rediscover the sacred flame of our national heritage, which so many have given their lives to safeguard;
Let the wounds of separation and division be healed by opening our hearts to listen to the truth on all sides, allowing us to find a higher truth that includes us all;
May we learn to honor and enjoy our diversity and differences as a people, even as we more deeply touch our fundamental unity;
May we, as a people, undergo a transformation that will draw forth individuals to lead our nation who embody courage, compassion and a higher vision;
May our leaders inspire us, and we so inspire each other with our potential as individuals and as a nation, that a new spirit of forgiveness, caring and honesty be born in our nation;
May we, as a united people, move with clear, directed purpose to take our place within the community of nations to help build a better future for all humankind;
May we as a nation rededicate ourselves to truly living as one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all;
And may God’s Will be done for the United States, as we, the people, align with that Will.

The meaning of Easter – What does it mean to you?
The meaning of Easter is Jesus Christ’s victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. The meaning of Easter also symbolizes the complete verification of all that Jesus preached and taught during His three-year ministry. If He had not risen from the dead, if He had merely died and not been resurrected, He would have been considered just another teacher or Rabbi. However, His resurrection changed all that and gave final and irrefutable proof that He was really the Son of God and that He had conquered death once and for all.
However, Easter did not always symbolize Christ’s resurrection from the dead and the meaning of Easter was quite different than what Christians celebrate today. The feast day of Easter was originally a pagan celebration of renewal and rebirth. Celebrated in the early spring, it honored the pagan Saxon goddess Easter. When the early missionaries converted the Saxons to Christianity, the holiday, since it fell around the same time as the traditional memorial of Christ’s resurrection from the dead, was merged with the pagan celebration, and became know as Easter. The meaning of Easter was also changed to reflect its new Christian orientation.
Today, the meaning of Easter, for million of Christians, is that of honoring and recognizing Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead, and His glorious promises of eternal life for all who believe in Him.
Don’t Quit Running This Race
Don’t quit running this race when the road is rough,
Filled with twists, turns and is real tough.
You can’t seem to see your way,
Trudging on can barely make it another day.
Is God still there or does he hide his face?
You must not quit but keep running this race.
“God give me grace and strength to see this through.”
Another day has dawned on your knees you pray,
Cry out to Jesus and say,
“Thank you Lord for all you do,
Helping me to make it through!”
I know you are tired and want to rest.
But don’t quit running this race it is only a test.
We are in God’s school and he is giving us a grade.
Don’t quit running this race or,
Give in to the devil and trade.
Let’s make high honors and put the devil to shame.
Remember this is NO GAME!
He is out to destroy you and take all your goods.
Know the enemy’s plan, he is cunning and deceiving,
Not always understood.
He comes in, tries to sit down and take a place.
Close the door, that devil is a disgrace!
Keep going in the power of Jesus’ Name.
One foot in front of the other that is why he came.
We will not just sit
But we are more then conquerors and will not quit.
So, Don’t Quit Running This Race,
Lean on Jesus for His amazing grace!

I help assist Representative Scott Plakon House District 37 who is being re-elected this year to the House of Representatives. You can check out his website at: www.scottplakon.com. Scott Plakon is very godly with a beautiful family that stands by him in all that he does. It is men like this we need in our nation running for the senate. Thank you Jesus for godly men who stand up for our nation! I keep telling Susie he needs to run for Senator this year. I would like to share this video with you. A few weeks ago their daughter Jeanne sang at a political event where Sarah Palin was at. You will see her in the video. Listen to the words of the song from that movie “Annie.” The words were changed because the re-election for Senators happens in November. Jeanne Plakon Performs “November” and “God Bless America” at Orange County Republican Executive Committee lincoln Day Dinner. Special Guest Sarah Palin. Pray for America! We are moving closer to what the Lord is about to do in our nation. Revival is coming! God bless you saints.

Rose Of Sharon
God is the
Rose of Sharon,
Lily of valleys, and
And morning star.
He is the fairest
Of ten thousands,
Most beautiful by far.
Is so sweet
The hearts of
Others we meet.
Holy of holies,
Our Abba Father,
The Great I Am, and
The Prince of Peace.
He is the name
That is above
Every other name
To earth he freely came
Gave his life
As a sacrifice
To all that would call
He has given us
A new name
All of our shame
Christ died on a tree
Paid a high price for
You and me!

April’s Quarterly Newsletter Re-cap:
Greetings Brother’s & Sister’s in Christ,
A quarter of this year has already gone by so quickly. I have decided to write this newsletter quarterly since I am keeping so busy doing most of the work myself and of course my husband that helps me a lot with a few volunteers that have stuck by our side. We want to stop and thank them for their faithfulness. May the Lord bless them in a great way that only he can. As we wait upon the Lord we will mount up with wings like the eagle, run not grow weary, walk and not faint, Isaiah 40:31. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us not in our own flesh but in God’s strength! I know many are hurting right now with the economy- loss of their jobs, sickness and family issues but our strength comes from the Lord. He is our firm foundation. Put your trust in Him. For God’s word says He will never leave you nor forsake you. His promises are true but you have to put your total trust in Him. You are not saved by what you do your good works no we are saved by God’s grace! The bible says all of our good works are like filthy rags in God’s eyes, Isaiah 64:6. Stop trying to measure up and be perfect. We are never going to be until we see Jesus face to face. We are all sinners saved by grace. We need to stop judging our brothers but edify and lift them up. Right now, we all need encouragement to face each new day. We do not need others to pull us down or depress our spirits. There are enough negative things going on in our nation right now. We need to try and be a blessing and strength to the weary and lost. People need to know that there is a loving Savior out there that cares and loves them no matter what they have done. Jesus is coming soon. Quit worrying about what others are doing and focus your attention on yourself. Are you doing what you are supposed to do? God is not going to ask you about someone else no He is going to talk to you about the way you are living your life. These type of people are busy bodies and man pleasers not God pleasers. God is looking at the hearts of all men not our motives or actions but our hearts! Is your heart clean or is it wicked? Search your heart and see what is in your heart before you cast a stone at another. The heart is deceitful and wicked above all things who can understand it except the mind of the Lord. Read all of Mark Chapter 7:23-It talks about the heart being clean and unclean. Also, read 1 Corinthians 4:3-5 the motives of man’s heart and Jeremiah 17:9-10, God searching the heart. There are several scriptures we could turn to but I am only giving you a few. This word I am giving you is for me too! Everything the Lord has me share with you is for me. I need all the help I can get so if you do not need it I will preach to myself. Keep going strong in the Lord. Don’t give up for our redemption is drawing nigh and Jesus is returning very soon! God bless you saints. Never forget how much the Lord loves you and so do we!
