Everywhere you look people are rushing here and there but who knows where they are going? Even they do not know. Their lives have just become a big rat race, running to and fro. Do you notice that time is going faster and faster? God is speeding up the time. He says in the Bible, that in the last days before the return of Christ, the days would be shortened. Matthew 24:22 , “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect, (those chosen by God), those days will be shortened.” This is all part of the Signs of the end of the Age. Read all of Matthew Chapter 24 . The Bible says in
Psalm 127:2 , “In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat-for he grants sleep to those he loves.” We are seeing that already. People in other countries do not have food to eat and go to bed with empty stomachs. We must never take God’s goodness of love and mercy for granted. It is important we never become a nation too proud to need God’s help. 2 Chronicles 7:14 , “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” As soon as we do, watch out!
1 Thessalonians 5:3 , “while people are saying, ’Peace and safety’, destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” The problem is we have forgotten the Lord and He is not hearing our prayers; He has closed His ears.
1st Peter 3:12 , “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” Righteous one, God has not forgotten you! God has promised to take care of you.
Psalm 37:25-26 , “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed.” The righteous always have plenty, more than enough. Their baskets are overflowing with the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Praise God! Read about the blessings and curses in Deuteronomy Chapter 28. As we keep Jesus first place in our lives, love the Lord will all our hearts, souls, and minds. (Matthew 22:37-38): God will always take care of us, saints. You never need to worry; just put your total trust in the Lord
(Matthew 6:26-34). Do Not Worry. We need to make the most of every opportunity because the days are evil and the enemy is seeking whomever he can devour. Resist him, standing firm in your faith because your brothers around the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering, the Bible says. Rejoice and look up, your redemption draweth nigh! Praise the Lord!, “Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. “Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is” (Ephesians 5:15-17). It is so important we find out what God’s will is and not waste our time any longer doing what the enemy would have us to do. He is out to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Are you going to let him? He is out to stop and hinder you from doing all that God has for you to do. God has a purpose and plan in mind for you. In order to find out what God’s good plan is, you must slow down and sit at the Master’s feet. Don’t be in such a hurry. Take time to breathe in the fresh air and smell the beautiful flowers all that God has created. Remember God is the reason we live, move, and have our being. He is our everything! Without Him in our life we are going absolutely nowhere. Today, if you are not sure about your salvation, or you have never asked Jesus into your heart and life, you can be sure you are born-again and on your way to heaven. God has a great plan for you and wants to keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon this whole earth. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and you want to know Him, pray this prayer of salvation with me and mean it in your heart.

If you said that prayer and meant it with all your heart then you are on your way to heaven and will be ready for whatever comes your way. That is the most important prayer you will ever pray. I want you to know God loves you very much and He has a great plan in store for you! Walk with him daily. Read God’s word and fellowship with other believers in the Lord. Find a church that preaches the whole word of God.

Prayer of Waiting on the Lord

Dear Lord I pray I will see my need to quietly wait patiently upon you. Father it is in your strength do I wait and trust you. May I know your guidance, wisdom and direction for all the daily decisions I must make. “Holy Spirit,” I ask you to be with me through out the day, help me to know you love me and are always there to help me. Lord, you never leave me nor forsake me, Hebrews 13:5. Father, let me never be satisfied until I have yielded completely to your perfect will and have allowed you to have your way in me. What’s the Big Rush?

Everyone is in such
A big rush.
Rush here and rush there.
No one takes time
To barely hush.
It is a shame
Because life is real short.
We need to make
The most of every day,
Thank the Lord
For his precious promises
He gives to us along the way.
Jesus needs to be
Taking the wheel,
Leading and guiding
You as you kneel.
God is the driver and
You are going for the ride,
Let him take control and
Sit by his side.
There may be twists and turns,
Highs and lows
But just sit still and
Enjoy the ride,
God will bring you safely
To your destiny
If you do not run and go hide!

Isaiah 35:4, “Be strong, do not fear.”

Re-Cap for the months of August/September:

Greetings brothers and sisters in Christ,
These re-caps will always be a little behind so I can inform you of what is happening. We take one day at a time and God is opening new doors daily. We are in need of more volunteers to help us in this ministry. We need people to help set up a booth and run the booth when I need to speak at an event. Also, people will be needed in time when we travel. This is all in God’s timing. We just take one day at a time and you need to do that as well. God’s grace is sufficient! Most of the work is done by God and us alone. The burden is getting too heavy but you and I know God always comes through at the last minute when we are sitting on the edge of our seat waiting. You and I must keep enduring and trusting him especially in these final days we are living in before the coming of our Savior! God sent us a volunteer editor that will help us edit devotionals I write that will be used for different websites. If you would like to volunteer your time, hear Dawn O’brien speak at an event you are having please contact us on our website at or you may call our phone line at 407-245-7371 and someone will get back to you promptly. Also contact us with any prayer requests you may have or praise reports and when you write if you feel led in your heart to give a gift to the ministry we are tax deductible. We are a 501 © 3 ministry and you can claim it on your taxes. You will be helping God’s kingdom go forth to save the lost. Please send it to:
