Do you have a spirit of lust in your heart or is there a spirit of love. Let’s first define that word lust. From the New Webster’s Dictionary the meaning of lust is a longing desire; carnal appetite and depraved affections. The word love says to regard with affection; to like; to delight in. We can lust anything if our hearts are not right with the Lord. The bible says in 1 John 5:15-17, do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. You and I live in this world but we are not of it. Mark 13:31, Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. God’s word is eternal. You and I are not supposed to make this place our home. We are aliens, strangers passing through. Hebrews 11:13-16, all these people where still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on the earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. The more you have the more you want. James 4:3, when you ask you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. Where your treasure is that is where your heart is, Mt. 6:21. Jesus must be your first and foremost love not things. Matthew 6:33, But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Verse 34, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. God knows your needs and he promised to meet them and take care of you but you must put God first in your life. You cannot love anything more then him. Your career, money, family, home life, and hobbies cannot hold first place in your heart. Jesus must be above everything else. Matthew 22:37-38, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all you’re your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” Does Jesus hold first place in your heart? If he is not your Lord and King and he does not have lordship of your heart in everything you say and do then pray this prayer with me and mean it in your heart. If you mean business so does God. Pray This prayer of salvation, say, “Dear Jesus, I am a sinner, in need of a Savior. Come into

my heart and save me. I want to be born-again. Forgive me of all my sins, wash me and cleanse me with your atoning blood. I receive you now. Amen” If you said that prayer and meant it with all your heart then you are on your way to heaven and will be ready for whatever comes your way. That is the most important prayer you will ever pray. I want you to know God loves you very much and he has a great plan in store for you! Walk with him daily, Read God’s word and fellowship with other believers in the Lord and find church that preaches the whole word of God. Life is too short to play around with your salvation. You can be here one minute and gone the next. I pray you said that prayer and meant it in your heart. What good is it the bible says to gain the whole world and forfeit your soul, Mt 9:25. What good is it? You cannot take anything with you. When you are dead you are dead, no one will remember you. Here today and gone tomorrow. James 4:13-17, Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Verse 15, instead. You ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” As it is you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins. Where will you spend your eternity when you die? Heaven or Hell? God leaves that choice up to you. He will not force himself on you. You can die at any age you never know when God will call you home. I pray you made the right decision, prayed that prayer with me and meant it in your heart. If you did then you are on your way to a glorious future with a great God! If not, there is still time. Just go back and pray that prayer with me and mean what you are saying. Do not just say words out of fear but really mean them. God sees and he knows your heart. I promise you, you will pray the most important prayer of your life. You will not be sorry you did! Jesus loves you and so do we. God bless you. Go in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Take one day at a time. Jesus promised to be with you and not forsake you, Hebrews 13:5. Let Jesus fill your heart with real love not lust. The joy of the Lord is our strength!

I said a Valentine prayer for you
and asked the Lord above
to fill your heart and bless your soul
With the precious gift of love.
I asked Him for sincere love
The kind that’s meant to stay
Just like the generous love
You give to those you touch each day.

I prayed for love from family
And from every cherished friend
Then I asked the Lord to give you
His love that knows no end.

Love is patient,
Love is kind.
It bears all things,
Believes all things,
Hopes all things,
Endures all things.
Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13:4,7,8

Wishing you, on Valentine’s Day and always,
the beauty of His ways,
the Blessing of His Love!

Happy Valentine’s Day
1 Corinthians 13 (New International Version)
1 Corinthians 13

1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

*****Maybe you never asked Jesus to come into your heart to become your Lord and Savior. This is the most important prayer you will ever pray. Do it today, do not wait. Today is the day of salvation, now is the time of God’s favor. Commit your life to Jesus surrender your will and way*****

I Am “Forever Yours”

I am “Forever Yours”
To have, to hold,
Forever change, love and mold.
I cannot get enough of
Your sweet and gentle embrace.
The way you breathe upon me and
My tears flow from this broken face.
Your presence is Holy divine.
“My Jesus” you are one of a kind.
Who is like you?
None I have found.
Your presence is all around.
There is none like you
In so many ways,
So faithful to your children
All of their days.
Have your way in me
Whatever that may be.
I am “Forever Yours”
Until death do us part.
Please don’t leave me
It would break my heart.
I am married to you.
Jesus you are my bridegroom
Coming down from above.
Oh, how I long for your amazing love.
I feel in my spirit so poor,
Fill this temple until I want no more.
Come and quench this longing within.
It goes much deeper,
“Lord, I do not want to sin.”
Drench me in your anointing
That overshadows me,
Gives me eyes to see and
Protects me from my enemy.
I am your bride soon to be.
I wait for you, Lord Jesus,
To come and set me free.
Bring me home safely
To your side where I will forever abide!
